Fitness mantra of Ramamurthy Sivakumar, MD, Intel Capital

Having worked for nearly 25 years at Intel, Ramamurthy Sivakumar AKA Siva has had many roles in engineering, research, investments, M&A, business and market development and sales and marketing.



Amidst all this Siva is also known for spending much of his personal time in sporting and outdoor activities.


Leaving behind a packed schedule and stretched work hours, the Intel MD manages to go for cycling every day.


As an eco friendly transport, he loves cycling and manages to pedal on a daily base. He chose it as the best option over driving a car, especially when he goes to buy small stuffs.


Considering workout is a must for his present work schedule. On weekends, he schedules a day for the fitness regimen as per his choice.

Siva enjoys a good walk whenever time permits. Alternatively, he runs and burns the extra stored calories, which according to him is the best way to keep a balance in intake and output of your body.


As a sports enthusiast, he prefers playing tennis on weekends or whenever he manages to get time after work. He has made a group of sports enthusiasts who are willing to take out time for sports. Siva believes that sports give you high energy, and serves best to keep one fit. This high energy level gained gives a boost to ones performance in everyday life as well.
